The Representational Turn

Sometimes the breakthrough is not a better answer in the old language. It is a new language in which the obstruction disappears.

What changed?

In the published Astra mathematics walkthroughs, the model sometimes abandons a quantity that has lost decisive information, keeps a useful relation from the failed route, and constructs another mathematical representation. The proof becomes possible there.

The representation can be part of the invention.

What Transductive Science does with that

It adds one move to ordinary experimentation: when a problem resists, build a materially different representation of the same question and compare what each one enables.

Mathematics

Change the quantities, objects, coordinates, or intermediate structures, then prove in the new language.

Software

Implement the alternative directly and compare behavior rather than debating labels.

Human perception

Turn the alternative into a lawful world and test whether a person can learn to use it.

Why ELSEWHERE matters

ELSEWHERE asks whether humans can participate in representation invention again—not only by describing a concept, but by learning a relation through movement and perception that ordinary reality does not provide.

The first useful test is small: introduce one stable artificial cue, train with it, remove or alter it, and measure whether the learned ability transfers. No platform, role system, or governance layer is needed before that experiment exists.

What counts as success?

The new representation must create a new, repeatable ability: a proof, prediction, compression, control strategy, perceptual discrimination, or transferable skill. If it does not, change it or discard it.
